Environmental policy

It is LEMAN´s aim to contribute to the protection of the surrounding enviroment.
 
Based on the following policy is made:
 
To limit transports negative effect on the environment:

• to ensure the demand for cleaner technology within transportation.
   
• to secure the most effecient use of resources, based on an improved
   vehicle utilization, loading planning and routing (fewer miles driven).
   
• to increase the use of information technology, in order to improve
   efficiency of the transport flow.

To co-operate actively with the local authorities over environmental issues.

To enter into an environmental co-operation with larger freight customers and foreign partners based on concrete transports and routines.

To communicate and promote our employee´s involvement in environmental
matters.
 
To encourage suppliers to improve their products and services in connection
with LEMANs environmental aims.
 
In co-operation with our customers, to strive jointly towards service improvements
in terms of the environment.
